Growing a blog can feel like planting seeds and wondering if the rain will come.
You pour your soul onto the page, press that publish button with bated breath, and then you wait, yearning for someone to read, to feel the fire of your words, and perhaps, just perhaps, to ignite a spark of connection in response.
If you’re anything like me, trying to balance life and emotions, the last thing you want is for blogging to become another source of stress. Instead, you crave an experience that feels gentle and nurturing , a comforting space where you can truly be yourself.
So here’s a little something I created for both of us: a gentle weekly checklist designed to nurture your blog’s growth while helping you maintain your peace of mind.
🌱 A Soft Weekly Checklist for Growing Your Blog
1. Publish 1-2 Posts That Feel Honest
Let one be a journal prompt. Let the other be something real — a thought, a tip, a quiet reflection. That’s enough.
2. Talk to the Few Who Are Listening
If even one person reads and comments, speak to them. Make them feel seen. Community grows from kindness.
3. Share Snippets on Instagram or Pinterest
You don’t need to post daily. Just share when it feels right. A quote from your post. A calming reel. Your favorite journal spread.
4. Invite Readers In
Ask a gentle question at the end of your blog post:
“How did today’s prompt land for you?”
“What’s something you’re carrying today?”
These small invitations make a difference.
5. Nurture Your Email List Slowly
Even if one person signs up, send them a soft hello. It’s not about big numbers — it’s about trust.
You don’t have to rush. You don’t have to perform. You’re allowed to grow quietly.
And the beautiful thing about this kind of growth?
It lasts.
PS: I made a free printable version of this checklist if you’d like to pin it up or tuck it into your journal.
Thank you for being here. This little blog means something because of you.
